Meet Paula

 My Story 

Life as a litigator came with a price — chronic stress, very long hours, questionable eating habits and little time for self care.  After a very stressful and unsatisfying career as a litigation attorney, I chose to stay home to raise my girls. It wasn’t until motherhood that everything seemed to unravel. Giving birth to two children in less than 2 years on the heals of a decade as a litigator sent my already depleted mind/body spiraling towards rock bottom. The lack of meaningful insight and/or solutions from traditional medical practitioners ignited my passion for reclaiming my health in ways that required peeling back the layers and balancing what had been a very imbalanced system and lifestyle. The transformative care I received from several integrative practitioners fueled and solidified my desire to pay it forward and embark on a new career path.  

During my nutrition studies at MUIH, a series of personal events highlighted the shortcomings of traditional cancer care, events that kindled in me the aspiration to be part of the solution. Once I connected with the integrative and naturopathic principles of oncology care, I was hooked and sought further education from the Oncology Nutrition Institute where I received my certification as an Oncology Nutrition Consultant. The totality of my education, as both lawyer and nutritionist with specialized oncology focused training, coupled with life experience (as mother of two girls) gives me a unique set of perspectives and skills to use on your behalf.
